Commitment to Compliance
At Detect-It LLC, our commitment to conducting business with integrity and responsibility is paramount. We adhere strictly to all applicable laws and regulations, including ITAR. As a company at the forefront of innovation and security solutions, we understand the critical importance of compliance in safeguarding national security and maintaining the trust of our stakeholders.
Senior Management
Led by our Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Brian Uller, our senior management team is committed to supporting ITAR compliance by providing the necessary resources, training, and oversight. They will ensure that compliance is a core component of our corporate culture and operational practices.
Compliance Officer
We have appointed Brian Uller as the Compliance Officer responsible for managing our ITAR compliance program. This officer will ensure that all employees are informed of their responsibilities and that compliance procedures are effectively implemented and maintained.
Employee Responsibilities
Every employee at Detect-It LLC is expected to understand and adhere to ITAR regulations relevant to their role. Compliance is a shared responsibility, and employees are encouraged to report any concerns or potential violations to the Compliance Officer without fear of retaliation.
Export Controls
We will implement stringent procedures for classifying, licensing, and controlling exports of defense articles and technical data. No defense article, technical data, or defense service subject to ITAR will be exported or transferred to a foreign person without prior written authorization from the DDTC or an applicable exemption.
Training and Awareness
Comprehensive training programs will be provided to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about ITAR requirements and our internal compliance procedures. Training will be conducted regularly and updated as necessary to reflect regulatory changes.
Recordkeeping
We will maintain precise records of all transactions involving ITAR-controlled items and ensure they are available for review by authorized personnel and regulatory bodies.
Continuous Improvement
Regular audits and assessments of our compliance program will be conducted to identify areas for enhancement and ensure adherence to ITAR regulations.
Reporting and Non-Retaliation
Detect-It LLC encourages open communication and the reporting of potential compliance issues. Employees who in good faith report suspected violations will be protected from retaliation. Any violations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
