Turn your existing cameras into
active process intelligence.

solutions - process monitoring

Your production floor is already covered by cameras. Most of the time, nobody is watching them. Detect-It turns passive surveillance into active process monitoring — watching robot arm calibration, cycle consistency, conveyor flow, operator compliance, and machine health in real time, and flagging anomalies before they become downtime or defects.

DETECT-IT MONITORS YOUR PROCESS CONTINUOUSLY - EVERY SHIFT, EVERY CYCLE, WITHOUT FATIGUE

Process anomalies — a robot arm drifting out of calibration, a conveyor running slower than spec, an operator skipping a step — rarely announce themselves. They accumulate gradually, produce increasing numbers of subtle defects or near-misses, and eventually cause a line stoppage or a quality escape. Detect-It catches the trend before it becomes the event.

THE PROBLEM

Cameras see everything. Most of it goes unwatched.

Modern manufacturing facilities have more camera coverage than ever — for security, for traceability, for documentation. But camera footage is almost entirely reactive. It's reviewed after something goes wrong, not used to prevent things from going wrong in the first place.

Process monitoring with human observers doesn't scale. You can't staff someone to watch every camera feed on every line every shift. And even when someone is watching, they can't reliably catch subtle process drift — a robot arm that's 2mm out of position, a cycle that's running 3 seconds slow, a conveyor belt with an intermittent jam developing.

AI vision can watch everything, all the time, without fatigue — and it can be trained to recognize what normal looks like for your specific process, so it knows when something has changed even if the change is subtle.

process monitoring applications

what detect-it watches on your production floor

robot arm calibration

Detects when a robot arm is operating outside its normal position envelope — an early indicator of calibration drift that causes part mishandling, fixture damage, or process defects before the robot faults out.

cycle time consistency

Monitors cycle time frame by frame and flags cycles that run significantly long or short. Short cycles often indicate skipped steps. Long cycles often indicate a developing mechanical issue or operator hesitation.

conveyor monitoring

Watches conveyor flow for jams, part accumulation, speed variation, and part orientation errors before they cascade into a line stoppage. Can trigger an alert the moment a jam begins developing.

operator compliance

Verifies that operators are following the correct process sequence at each station — wearing required PPE, using correct tools, completing required steps before moving the part forward.

machine health indicators

Monitors visible machine behavior for anomalies — unusual vibration patterns, smoke or vapor, fluid leaks, or other visual indicators of developing mechanical issues that a camera can see before a sensor catches them.

safety gate & zone monitoring

Detects unauthorized entry into restricted zones, safety gate status, and operator proximity to hazardous equipment — providing an AI vision layer on top of existing safety systems.

THE DETECT-IT SOLUTION

Train on what normal looks like — detect when it changes

Detect-It process monitoring works the same way as every other Detect-It application — start with a video of your process running normally, label what you want to monitor, and Net Builder trains a detection net in hours. The difference is that instead of detecting a defect on a part, you're detecting a deviation from normal process behavior.

Net Runner deploys the monitoring net to your existing camera feeds and runs continuously — comparing what it sees in real time to what normal looks like for your process. When behavior outside the normal range is detected, it generates an immediate alert and logs the event with a timestamped image for review.

use cameras you already have

Process monitoring runs on your existing camera infrastructure — the cameras already covering your production floor, your conveyors, your robot cells. No new hardware required.

trained on your normal

Not a generic anomaly detection model — trained on what your specific process looks like when it's running correctly. More accurate on your process than any pre-built monitoring system.

24/7 without fatigue

Monitors every shift, every cycle, continuously — without the attention drift that makes human process monitoring unreliable over a full shift.

entirely on-premises

All monitoring runs on your hardware behind your firewall. Your process data, your footage, and your trained models never leave your facility.
